Using the Yamaha YVC-1000 Speaker (Brownsburg)
Connecting to a PC or Mac computer using the USB cable
- Connect the speaker to a computer using the supplied USB cable.
- Press the power button to turn the Yamaha speaker on. All the buttons should light up green and your computer audio should output to the connected speaker. If it does not, check your computer's audio settings to ensure that the speaker is set as the input and output device.
Connecting to a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth for the first time
- Press the power button to turn the Yamaha speaker on. All the buttons should light up green.
- Press the Bluetooth button. The button flashes blue.
- Hold down the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds or more. The Bluetooth button flashes blue rapidly and pairing is enabled.
- Select the "YVC-1000 Yamaha" device in the Bluetooth pairing settings on your smartphone or tablet. If a message prompts you to enter your passkey, enter "0000".
Connecting to a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth that is already paired
- Press the power button to turn the Yamaha speaker on. All the buttons should light up green.
- Press the Bluetooth button. The button flashes blue.
- Select "YVC-1000 Yamaha" from the list of paired Bluetooth devices on your smartphone or tablet.
Connecting to a video conferencing system using audio cables
- Press the power button to turn the Yamaha speaker on. All the buttons should light up green.
- Connect your video conference system to the speaker via audio cables (stereo RCA pin plug) for input and output. Be sure to disable the microphone and speaker on the video conference system side.
